I looked for months to find a pager for emergencies with my daughter. I am a newly single mom and I needed a way for her to get in touch with me. I looked everywhere. Even stores called "beepers n things" didn't sell pagers, and they were rude and condescending when I inquired.

I just wanted to thank you for the quick service this past weekend. My former pager company was only open 9-5 Monday through Friday and when I had a problem on a Saturday, I had to wait until at least Monday to even speak to someone. You guys assisted me in getting my same pager and phone number reconnected through Directpage and when I had a question at 8:30 on Sunday night, I was able to reach a very helpful customer service person who answered my question regarding voicemail setup in a very timely fashion. When my old paging company announced they were closing up, I really wasn't sure which direction to take. I knew I wanted to keep a pager as a backup to my cellphone but didn't want to risk another loss. Last year, I fell for one of those $3.95/month pager deals on the internet, 4 months into using my pager, the display of my Motorola LS350 looked like segments were missing. I called the pager place and I was told that I could buy another pager but my pager was not covered under warranty.
The actually said, "what did you expect for $3.95 a month?" I said I expected my pager to work more than 4 months. Cancel my Service!
I then called Directpage and told them what happened.
First thing, they said, "Did you wonder why with all the pagers we offer, we don't offer the LS350?" I said yeah, I noticed that. The Directpage rep explained that the LS350 has no protective lens like all of the other pagers that they carry so it is more apt to have problems with the LCD failing.
Well, didn't I find that out the hard way. Not only did they recommend the Motorola Express Extra, they offered it free with a year prepayment of only $83.40. Thanks Directpage!..

My old paging company went out of business last year and I never tried to reactivate my pager. Since my pager was on one of the frequencies listed on the Directpage pager reactivation page, I filled out the online reconnect form and within an hour my pager was working. I've been using a nextel phone for about 4 years now and found that the voicemail alert is not always timely. Sometimes I am not alerted that I have a voicemail waiting for a day and sometime seconds after the voicemail was left. Nextel couldn't solve my problem. I called Directpage inquiring about a pager with voicemail. I was transferred to a manager named Jack, he was well versed on my issue with Nextel and suggested that I order a pager with voicemail, set up call forwarding on my nextel phone to transfer calls if my nextel phone is in use, off or unavailable (all done via the nextel phone menu) and have the calls forwarded to my pager. This solution has saved me thousands of dollars in lost sales as not only does my pager's voicemail get my messages, I can be alerted to a message via my pager while I am still on the phone talking to another client. Thanks Directpage for an inexpensive solution to a very irritating problem!..

10 minutes, that's how long it took for my pager to be activated and I never left my house! I'm in California and Directpage is in New Jersey...Unbelievable! Considering it took me a week to find a place that could activate my pager. The place I bought my pager went out of business last year and no store in my area even sells pagers anymore. I needed an inexpensive way to get my important emails and be able to respond when I'm not near a computer and my T900 does the trick thanks to Directpage!..

I was really impressed when I was able to order a pager cloned to my existing Directpage T350 Pager so that I would not have to constantly exchange my pager with my emergency on call associate. We share shifts at our medical practice every other weekend and it makes it much easier to have two T350 pagers beep at the same time than having to give out two pager phone numbers. I was even more impressed that this option not only exists but can be ordered online. My last paging provider told me that they couldn't even provide this option. Thanks for the great service!..

I am writing to tell you that I am extremely pleased with Directpage. I was formerly a customer of one of your online competitors and switched to Directpage for the following reasons: After having an issue with my old paging service at 4pm on a Friday (pacific time) and having to wait until Monday to talk to anyone, I was already upset. Then I was told by my former paging company that I would have to purchase a new pager because my pager only had a 30 day warranty and no maintenance plan was offered.
After my past experience with the other online paging company, I can't imagine why anyone would purchase a pager from a company that did not offer a maintenance plan or have convenient customer service hours.
It definitely pays to check out the customer service hours and service benefits before ordering, rather than finding out after the sale that the service is lacking.
I will highly recommend Directpage to my coworkers who are also in the market for pagers.

I've got to give you guys credit! I originally ordered a pager from one of your online competitors that offered service for $5/month= $60/year. Of course they didn't offer a maintenance program at this price and they weren't open on weekends incase I had a problem. I figured "no big deal, it's a new pager, what kind of problems will I have"? I figured wrong. The pager failed, I had to wait til Monday to get anything done and then I had to end up paying full price for another pager since I didn't pay for their "pager assurance plan". Comparing another paging service to Directpage is like comparing a fast food restaurant to a Five Star restaurant. Directpage offers service above and beyond comparison to my old paging service. I've been a Directpage Customer for about 2 years now and never had an issue. Last Friday my pager stopped functioning. As a physician, I rely on my pager and cannot be without. I called Directpage...told them I need to have a pager immediately. They suggested that not only I take advantage of their free pager offer by prepaying another year of service, but order a spare to have on hand just in case of a malfunction or loss in the future. I agreed and they overnighted the pagers to me with Saturday Delivery. I received them on Saturday and within 15 minutes, my new pager was up and running. I then had a question for them on Saturday at 8pm, contacted them via their online support ticket system and had the answer at 8:10pm. Thanks again for the terrific service!..

I must say that not only am I impressed with the service that Directpage offers, but as a consciences online consumer, I always check the Better Business Bureau for complaints against companies I intend on doing business with so that I can avoid potential issues. Before choosing Directpage, I checked http://search.bbb.org/ and did a search for the paging companies top listed in Google and Yahoo. Every paging company I checked had complaints listed except Directpage. Some companies even had an unsatisfactory record because they didn't even respond to the Better Business Bureau. Directpage didn't even come up in their records! That's truly a testimonial in itself for a company that's been online for over 10 years (I checked that too) not to have any complaints listed. I only had one issue with my pager failing to receive pages this past year and directpage replaced my pager free of charge quickly and efficiently along with a postage paid envelope for the return of my malfunctioning ..

I have to tell you about the great experience that I have had dealing with your company. Before ordering, I had called another one of your online competitors. They didn't have their rates listed online. Now I know why. After going through 2 voice prompt menus and sitting on hold for 10 minutes, a rep finally answered the phone and quoted me $6.95/month if I signed a 2 year contract (the only way to get their free pager offer). This only included 400 pages/month with overcalls at .10/page and no maintenance plan. Maintenance added another $2/month to their service. I had already reviewed the Directpage website which had your rates clearly listed. I called to confirm, your rep answered within 30 seconds and I had my pager ordered 2 minutes later. Directpage offers better rates, a larger selection and 7 day a week customer service with a Free Maintenance plan included. Keep up the good work!..
